You have capable martial artists on your team. But teaching children takes more than knowing the techniques.
One coach keeps the class engaged. Another struggles with attention, behavior and transitions. Students experience a different class depending on who is teaching, and you step in to hold everything together.
When the owner has to teach every class, developing the team becomes difficult. This intensive gives your coaches a common structure and practical language they can use together.

Plan the visit

How many coaches can participate?
Include your expected coach count in the application. Team size and participation arrangements are confirmed with Joao before the date is approved, so the training can allow meaningful practice and feedback.
Is travel included?
No. The intensive is $4,997 plus travel expenses. Travel arrangements and their cost are agreed before booking.
What ages does the seminar serve?
The seminar is for children in your academy's kids program. Share their ages, experience levels and expected numbers in the application. The age groups and seminar format are agreed before the visit.
Can coaches record the training?
Please request recording permission in advance. Joao will confirm what may be recorded and how it may be used. Recording children also requires the appropriate parent or guardian permissions.
What does the academy provide?
Plan to provide a suitable, clean mat area, your participating coaches, student coordination, and the required student waivers and parent permissions. Space, equipment and scheduling needs will be reviewed during the pre-visit assessment.
Can a second location participate?
Include the second location in your application, along with its coach count. Joint participation, any additional scope and pricing must be approved before booking.
What happens after the visit?
Your team uses the workbook, templates and 12-week implementation roadmap to put the system into practice. Follow-up calls help review progress and answer implementation questions; their timing is confirmed before the visit.
